SoLA Food Co-op is a community-owned grocery cooperative expanding access to fresh, organic, and affordable food in South Los Angeles. Founded in 2011 and incorporated in 2014, SoLA’s goal is to open a retail storefront on Crenshaw Boulevard that will offer fresh, healthy foods, member discounts and dividends, local re-investment opportunities, neighborhood jobs that pay a living wage, and a teaching kitchen to educate the community about healthy eating.
